These terms cover your use of Crumbs ("the Service"), a thought-capture assistant provided by PurposeLab Studio inside WhatsApp. By messaging Crumbs you agree to them. If you do not agree, stop using the Service.
You send Crumbs notes, ideas, to-dos, reminders, links, photos, voice notes, contacts and locations. Crumbs stores them, organises them automatically, and hands them back when you ask. It may also send you reminders and digests you have asked for.
You must be 18 or older and have a valid WhatsApp account. Your WhatsApp phone number identifies your account, so whoever controls that number controls the account.
Your crumbs remain yours. You grant us only the permission needed to run the Service: to store your content, process it (including sending it to the AI providers named in the Privacy Policy), and return it to you. We do not claim ownership and we do not use your content for advertising.
You are responsible for what you send. Do not send anything unlawful, or anything you do not have the right to store or share.
If the Service fails to work as described for a period you paid for, write to us and we will sort it out, including a refund where that is the fair outcome. Contact details are at the bottom.
Crumbs uses AI to interpret your messages and find things you asked for. AI can misread, mis-transcribe or mis-match an item. Crumbs is designed to answer only from what you actually saved rather than invent an answer, but it is not guaranteed to be correct. Do not rely on it as the only record of anything critical, and use the export feature if you need your own copy.
We aim to keep the Service running, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. It depends on WhatsApp, Cloudflare, Google and Razorpay, none of which we control. We may change, suspend or discontinue the Service; if we discontinue it, we will give reasonable notice so you can export your data.
Do not abuse the Service: no attempts to break, overload or reverse-engineer it, no automated bulk use designed to evade plan caps, no using it to store or distribute unlawful material, and no impersonating someone else. We may suspend or terminate an account that does these things.
You can stop at any time, and you can ask Crumbs to delete your account and its contents. We may terminate an account for a breach of these terms. On termination your data is deleted as described in the Privacy Policy.
The Service is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, PurposeLab Studio is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost data or lost opportunity. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the previous 12 months.
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have jurisdiction.
We may update these terms. The "Last updated" date above will change. Continued use after an update means you accept it.
